The Tuck privacy promise
You are trusting Tuck with your children’s words, faces, and voices. That deserves more than a legal page. Here is the deal, in plain language.
1. You’re the customer, not the product
The paid subscription is the entire business. There are no ads, no advertising profiles, no public feed, and no social graph. Nobody sees your family’s moments but the people you invite.
2. Your family’s words are never used to train AI
Tuck uses AI to organize what you choose to send and respond in the thread. Tuck’s AI providers cannot use your family’s content to train their models. Your kid’s words stay your kid’s words.
What happens to a moment you choose to send
-
You send a moment
A text, photo, or voice note.
-
AI helps organize it
For your weekly chapters and annual family book.
-
Tuck replies in your thread
Your original words stay with the moment.
3. You decide what to share
Tuck starts with first names and rough ages — that’s all it needs. Birthdays are optional, asked once, and only if you want exact ages in future chapters. Nothing is required beyond what you choose to send. Tuck does not ask for access to your photo library or scan it.
4. Export or delete, any time
Your family’s record belongs to your family. Request a full export or a deletion whenever you want — starting from one text or one email. No retention tricks, no exit interviews.
5. No surprises
If this promise or our privacy policy ever materially changes, you get direct notice first — with time to export or delete your family’s content before anything takes effect.
